Nothing gets diners through the doors like that all-loving Irish hospitality. No surprises, then, that Homeboy is serving up all the craic in Battersea.

When we think of Irish eateries, many of us will visualise the heavy wood interiors that make Irish pubs so unique. But Homeboy has gone down an altogether different path, creating a modern interior with plenty of dining options, courtyard seats in which to watch the comings and goings of this lively borough and a glistening bar that is responsible for its fair share of cocktails that seem to bend the rules of science.

But before we get to the cocktails, how about something to eat? The menu is compact but has a range of Irish greats that will get you through the evening. Start with some small bites like hispi cabbage or some crispy mackerel before moving on to a 30-day-aged Irish sirloin, the signature chicken burger or luscious lamb stew that is a sight for sore eyes after a cold and rainy day.
