Founded by old friends, Demetri and Christo, their upbringings in Cyprus influence the food, décor and relaxed vibe at Elia. Crisp and clean, their interior is always summery with whitewashed walls, mosaic tiles and a glass roof that welcomes in every last ray of Bristol sun. Perfect for joyous groups and date nights, there are plenty of big tables and cosy corners to suit everyone's dining style.

Form the base of your meal with some tantalising Greek Meze. Fill your tables with the likes of grilled halloumi, pork souvlaki, stuffed vine leaves and some freshly-blitzed hummus.

And with just three mains on offer, it's quality not quantity at this eatery. Traditional Greek food comes in the form of Kleftiko, a dish of slow-cooked lamb with a comforting portion of potatoes and salad. Alternatively, go mad for moussaka or skewer it with souvlaki!
