ABOE, so called because it prides itself on serving a bit of everything, is wooing diners with dishes lovingly and innovatively made with fresh, seasonal ingredients from Southwest England.
Relaxed, friendly and no strangers to a bit of fun, ABOE charms each and every diner that walks through their doors. Split between two levels, you'll encounter the bar first which is both a drinks station and creative hub with ironic artwork and dozens of coasters from all over the world proudly displayed. The rest of the eatery is informal and stylish, creating the perfect setting for that communal buzz that carries on into the late hours.
The kitchen is headed by no other than Chef Sebastian Merry. His experience in Michelin star restaurants, on MasterChef The Professionals and travelling around the globe has informed this diverse menu that's influenced by Asian and European cuisines.
Dinner here is a sharing affair, made up of delicacies like burnt butter ravioli, Korean spiced vegan tempura, fried soy chicken and ABOE's own take on fish and chips, elevating it to new heights with a pomme souffle, clams and tartar sauce. As for stunning cuts of meat, the venison dish features parsnip, buckwheat and blood orange for a mouthful that surprises and delights. As they said, ABOE is a bit of everything..
