Artisan pasta just got really good in Bristol. An enchanting cafe, deli and bar rolled into one, this eatery is celebrating the simple pleasures of fresh pasta, pesto and passata done to perfection.
During the daylight hours, Little Hollows is a cheery little café and deli, by night it's an intimate, candlelit bistro that serves up unforgettable Italian flavours that are made to order. Decorated with minimal fuss, rustic furniture and shelves upon shelves of Italian and local products, this eatery keeps things nice and simple and lets the beautiful food do all the talking.
The menus ebb and flow with the seasons, but something they all have in common is an unfaltering love for freshly made pasta. These days they're serving up stuffed agnolotti with juicy roasted tomatoes, heaps of garlic and creamy mascarpone. Up next is homemade pappardelle with a slow-cooked beef shin ragu and stringy tagliolini dispersed with Devon crab meat and salty capers. Understated and uncomplicated, Little Hollows celebrates everyday flavours and sings them from the rooftops.
And like any Italian eatery worth its salt, homemade tiramisu, vanilla pannacotta and the devilish affogato make up the desserts. Best enjoyed with a summery Aperol spritz or seasonal bellini, Little Hollows keeps the treats coming. The best of Italian life in a cool and calm atmosphere, this eatery is certainly one for the books.
