Promotion

Win one of three prizes for a dining experience at any Bristol restaurant up to the value of £175 each per prize.

Campaign Promotion commences at 02.00 am BST on Friday the 23rd February and ends at 11:59 pm BST on Friday the 8 March. All online and social media entries must be received by the closing time frame as stated.

Promoter

The Promoter of the Campaign is First Table Limited. The Promoter collects the entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion.

Eligible Entrants 

This Campaign is open to those who enter via the joint Instagram post on @firsttableuk and @bristollifemag Instagram channels, or via First Table's online competition entry form and who are 18 years or older as of the date of entry. The Campaign is only open to legal residents of the United Kingdom and is void where prohibited by law. The Campaign is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Odds

The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Agreement to Rules

By participating, the Contestant agrees to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of First Table as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Campaign.

How to Enter

The campaign must be entered by following First Table UK and @bristollifemag on Instagram, and tagging one other Instagram user in a comment on the joint Instagram reel here.  For those not on Instagram, you can enter via the competition from on this page. 

The entry must fulfill all Campaign requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win one of three prizes. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of First Table. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of First Table. 

Multiple entries from the same person are permitted in this competition, once a winner has been drawn, they are no longer able to be drawn as a winner for the second or third prize draw.

Prize

Win one of three prizes of a Bristol dining experience worth up to £175 per prize, drawn at random from all entries.

The prizes can be redeemed at any Bristol restaurant, but the restaurant must be able to either sell gift vouchers for First Table to purchase for the winner, or First Table reimburse the winner's UK bank account when they provide First Table the receipt after dining.

If the prize is reimbursed, the prize winners must make the dinner reservation themselves, and communicate with First Table after they have dined, to provide UK bank account details and dining receipt.  Payment will be in Great British Pounds.

The prizes cannot be redeemed with any other offer. The prize is subject to booking availability and must be claimed within six months of the competition closing. 

The prize value must be used in one sitting and cannot be split over numerous dining experiences. The Winner is responsible for additional costs over and above £175 dining experience and not included in the prize.

Winner Selection and Notification

The winners will be selected by a random drawing of the Promotion under the supervision of First Table within 96 hours of the competition ending. The Winners will be notified by either by Instagram Direct message or email. First Table shall have no liability for the Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk email, or other security settings or for the Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within four days from the time award notification was sent, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected.

Claiming Prize 

The winner can choose any restaurant they would like to dine at in Bristol, and First Table will purchase a gift voucher and email it to the winners email address. 

If gift vouchers are unavailable for purchase, the winner can dine at a restaurant in Bristol, and email the receipt and UK bank account number to First Table to claim the £175 dining reimbursement.

The Prizes must be redeemed by the 8th September 2024 (6 months after the competition close date) or is otherwise invalid. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted.

Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner. No substitution of the prize or transfer/assignment of the prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by Winner is permitted. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for First Table to use the Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation unless prohibited by law

Rights Granted by You

By entering this content (e.g., photo, video, text, etc.), You understand and agree that First Table, anyone acting on behalf of First Table, and First Table licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World. This is without limitation, your entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the Campaign, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent.

This competition hosted by First Table is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.

First Table reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition if it cannot be conducted as planned for any reason or causes beyond our control.

The winner will be drawn at random from all entries on this Instagram post and competition webpage.
