Born out of frustration with London’s lack of quality fried chicken, Coqfighter began as a casual gathering at Troy, Tristan, and Deacon’s South London flat. Inspired by their time in Melbourne, where hot summer nights meant Korean fried chicken and cold beers in bustling Chinatown, the trio decided to bring that magic home.

What started as nights with friends quickly grew into pop-ups in pubs, followed by successful residencies and their first permanent home in South London. A DIY build later, Coqfighter opened to the public and the queues proved they were onto something.

Fast forward a few years, and Coqfighter’s commitment to bold flavours, fresh ingredients, and meticulous execution has earned it a loyal following. From humble beginnings to multiple locations across the country, their dedication remains the same. Now, they’re bringing the hype to King’s Cross.
