In summer, diners feast on sushi and aromatic curries on the streetside tables whilst in winter, their soft yellow lighting creates a warm and soothing spot to tuck into some Asian comfort eats. Effortlessly cosmopolitan with a certain Japanese flair, Ensō is one for the cosy suppers, the first dates and those long-awaited catch-ups.

The menu offers a feast of opportunities, many of which you are unlikely to find elsewhere. The main courses are out to impress, featuring the opulent Weeping Tiger dish of beef sirloin and house chilli dip that attracts some envious stares from all around. Then comes the grilled duck breast in a glossy tamarind sauce, the bold seafood stir fry and Thai curry with your choice of daily fish or prawns.

And when it comes to noodles, make it a mountain portion! From classic pad Thai to mee Goreng, yakisoba and chow main, the noodle selection touches every corner of Asia, each of which has its own story to tell. Then, in rolls the sushi section (complete with a great selection of rolls, no doubt) as well as donburi bowls, uramaki, crispy tempura and futomaki. Is there anything else they could have forgotten?
