Shiro Sushi

One of Tokyo's most dazzling suburbs, Ginza, is being replicated to suit the eclectic tastes of diners in Liverpool Street.

If you haven't been to Tokyo already, then you might be pleased to learn that Ginza is perhaps up there with Tokyo's most glamorous districts. A hotspot for designer shopping and incredible gastronomy, Shiro Sushi is embodying all the same exclusivity with their limited number of covers and applausable attention to detail. Just like an authentic Japanese eatery, the majority of the restaurant is composed of sandy wood, breathing an organic, Zen vibe through the whole place and inviting you to sit down, relax and allow the food to do all the talking.

Many might already think that sushi reigns supreme when it comes to high-end eats, but nothing will quite prepare you for Shiro's crystal sushi which includes scallops and caviar, and salmon with mint and sake jelly. They're almost too beautiful to eat! The same can be said of the maki which features avocado and cucumber with yuzu kosho mayo, prawn tempura with spicy mayonnaise, and spicy tuna with cucumber.

That's the cold dishes, but what about something warm and comforting? The robata grill is busy grilling up salmon teriyaki, seabream, chicken skewers and Australian wagyu bavette for your pleasure whilst the hob is simmering pots of flavoursome ramen with vegan, seafood and pork belly accompaniments.

It's not Ginza if you don't have a world of choice!
