One of the very first Latin American restaurants to grace the London dining scene, Guanabana Restaurant has always been a globetrotter. Spanning Jamaica, Colombia, Argentina, and Mexico, the other side of the world is only an order away.

And as their menu darts in all kinds of directions, their zesty restaurant anchors the whole concept beautifully. They're replicating the tropical climates of their main inspirations with a pastel colour scheme that is only interrupted by some bright splashes of modern art depicting the lusciousness that these countries have to offer. All is neat and orderly; a lovely base from which to enjoy some explosive flavours.

Landing with a splash from Jamaica is the famous jerk chicken. Spiced and roasted to ensure a supreme smoky depth, Guanabana replicates this soul food with a number of variations like the jerk chicken alfredo, caesar salad, and a magnificent platter upon which there's something for everyone.

From further afield come the house dishes that are inspired from all over Latin America, including a butter bean slaw graced by all the meatiness of oxtail, and sticky beef ribs that literally fall off the bone. Finally, end your evening in the Caribbean with a Barbados Spritz. There are definitely worse places to end up!
