Bermondsey's warm and welcoming Lahpet Larder is the third outpost for the dextrous and innovative team at Lahpet.

Following on from their Shoreditch and West End restaurants this spot carries on the traditions of regional Burmese cookery and imported Myanmar ingredients.

Set in a bright and spacious restaurant, Lahpet Larder is decorated with warm golden and pink hues that stretch to the larder section with some of the imported colourful ingredients used in their culinary masterpieces.

This quirky restaurant prides itself on its menu of sharing plates and bowls. Lahpet Larder is also making a name for its house pickles, and fiery relishes which can be served alongside your sharing plates.

Favourites include the mystical laphet, a pickled tea leaf salad that weaves between this world and mother nature. The humble tea leaf salad is emboldened with darkly toasted garlic and a peanut crunch that unravels bitterness with each bite.

The delicately juicy Rakhine salmon ceviche and heritage tomato salad are a petrichor delight with shining fish cracker shards forming little mountains of salty mirrored pools of oil.
