What started as a life-changing road trip around Spain in 1984 is now this bustling tapas restaurant in London’s best hotspots. Camino brings the fiesta one step closer with incredible tapas that’s worth writing home about!
Modern with plenty of rustic charm, Camino in Monument has the best of both worlds. Endlessly spacious with all kinds of dining styles, their communal dining room is a stylish mixing pot of booths, bistro tables and bar stools, allowing you to bask in the relaxed vibe exactly how you like. And if you haven’t checked out their bar yet, don’t waste another second! A spectacular display of wine bottles provides the backdrop of one of the buzziest spots in Monument!
But back to the food because you’ll need a decent amount of time to peruse everything on offer. Hint: there’s a lot! We’re talking small plates filled with meaty, seafood-y and veggie rays of sunshine, from carefully selected cured meats and cheeses, sauteed chorizo, Ibérico pork, suckling pig and prime rib-eye steak.
Balance your table with some Atlantic octopus with saffron potatoes, pan-roasted seabass and a range of vegetable plates like patatas bravas and spritely tomato salads. Get really into the fiest spirit with a jug of crimson sangria. Whilst dangerous around a white shirt, this is how a Spanish party gets started, but if you don’t want to risk the spills, get your thrills from a fragrant G&T or tropical cocktail! Camino is for all the bambinos!
