A Middle Eastern/North African restaurant which is very much the pride and joy of the leafy green pastures of Ealing Common, Leila Moroccan & Lebanese prides itself in flavoursome and hearty Moroccan and Lebanese dishes. What's more, it has been recently named the second-best Moroccan restaurant in London by TripAdvisor
The décor pronounces itself with a conservatory by the entrance leading to an open dining area that promises an authentic Middle Eastern world of wonder.
Hot and cold mezze are the heroes of the menu. Begin with the kabish (Lebanese pickles) and spicy hummous; then follow up with pastille djaj (traditional Moroccan chicken filo pasty) or a sojok (homemade spicy lamb sausages).
A real crowd-pulling aspect of Leila is that it has something for everyone. From traditional bread and soups to light salads and even filling taginea and smoky grilled meats, Leila is an earthy and thoroughly likeable restaurant.
The square mile may have a myriad of eateries, but where Leila excels isn’t just in its wholesome cooking or its cosy surroundings, it also has staff who are the epitome of warmth and friendliness, an essential ingredient of a wonderful lunch or dinner.
