In this article, we've put together a list of the top food and drink events to look out for in London this year.
London Coffee Festival: 20-23 April
For coffee lovers, the London Coffee Festival is a must-visit event that celebrates the art and culture of coffee. From 20-23 April, the Old Truman Brewery in East London will be transformed into a coffee lover's paradise.
The festival brings together some of the best coffee roasters, baristas, and coffee shops from all over the world. Visitors can sample different types of coffee, attend coffee brewing workshops, and watch latte art competitions.
Taste of London: 14-18 June
Taste of London is a food lover's dream, bringing together some of the top chefs and restaurants from all over the world. From 14-18 June, Regent's Park will be transformed into a gastronomic wonderland, where visitors can sample a range of dishes from different cuisines.
The festival offers an opportunity to discover new ingredients, try new flavours, and learn from some of the best chefs in the world. London Craft Beer Festival: 11-12 August
Craft beer lovers will want to mark their calendars for the London Craft Beer Festival, a celebration of the world's best craft beers, held on 11-12 August. The festival brings together some of the top craft breweries from all over the world, offering visitors the chance to sample a variety of unique and tasty beers.
The festival also features live music and street food from some of London's best food vendors, making it the perfect summer event. With over 100 different beers to try, there's something for every taste at London's Craft Beer Festival.
British Open Freestyle BBQ Championships: 26-28 August
Smoke and Fire Festivals in association with Big K product, are the proud hosts of the British Open Freestyle BBQ Championships to be held this August bank holiday weekend (26-28 August) at Promenade Park, Maldon, Essex.
What's it all about? Well if you have ever wanted to see competitive BBQing, this is the event for you. Watch as teams compete in a thrilling BBQ cooking competition, including a steak cookoff, burgers, hotdogs, bird, beef, pork and ribs BBQing!
There's also award-winning street food exhibitors, a retail village and live music as well as rides and entertainment for the kids.
Meatopia: September
Meatopia is a festival celebrating all things meat, and a must-visit event for meat lovers at the Tobacco Dock, Shadwell. Although specific dates for the event in September are yet to be announced, it's always an exciting event to look out for.
Meatopia brings together top chefs from all over the world, cooking up a variety of meat dishes using only the highest quality ingredients. Visitors can sample different types of meat and attend live cooking demonstrations, while enjoying live music and drinks.

London Restaurant Festival autumn edition: October
The London Restaurant Festival is a month-long celebration of the city's restaurant scene, held in October each year. The festival features some of the top restaurants in the city offering special menus, promotions, and events, such as wine tastings and food tours.
Now in its 15th year, the festival is a great way to discover new restaurants and cuisines, and sample some of the best dishes the city has to offer. With options ranging from Michelin-starred restaurants to street food vendors, there is something for every taste and budget at the London Restaurant Festival.
London Cocktail Week: 12-22 October
London Cocktail Week is an annual event that celebrates the best of the city's cocktail scene. From 12-22 October, some of the top bars and restaurants in London will be offering special cocktail menus and hosting events such as masterclasses and tastings.
This delectable event is the best time of the year to discover new cocktail trends and sample some of the city's most creative and delicious concoctions. Visitors can purchase a wristband which grants them access to discounted cocktails at participating venues throughout the week.
