This is Indian street food in a whole new light. Served up in a boutique venue with heaps of bougie sidekicks and accessories, Indico Mailbox is where the food trucks of Northern India meet exclusive gins for a pairing like no other.

There's something so striking about Indico Mailbox; it hits you the moment you walk through its doors. Perhaps it's the bold orange and charcoal colour scheme, maybe it's the loungy vibe that runs throughout the venue, or perhaps it's the quirky illustrations and crockery that set your heart alight. Simply put, Indico Mailbox is certainly not short of inspiration or personality - indeed, its playful nature hits you square in the face, promising it an evening in the presence of great company.

The food is equally as bombastic. The menu opens your eyes to the vastness of the north Indian cuisine, inviting you to first indulge in traditional chaats that are graced by chilli paneer, chicken tikka, hot wings, deep fried potato patties and deliciously seasoned vegetables. Alternatively, look to the Punjabi tandoor for marinated kebabs and tikka goodness.

The bigger plates include a delightful range of curries that take on Delhi-style butter chicken, lamb rogan josh and Punjabi choley. If you simply can't decide - or just want to sample as much as you possibly can - then there's a thali with your name on it. These platters are capable of hosting everything from spicy daals to buttery naans, makai palak, a couple of curries and fluffy rice. They even have burgers inspired by North Indian flavours and tawa rolls that are perfect for a grab-and-go bite.

Indian food knows no bounds!
