Husband and wife team Jérôme and Roxane and their best friend Ophelie have set out to bring the best of Parisian bistro-culture to Bristol, with a focus on quality ingredients and simple, flavoursome dishes served in a relaxed atmosphere that is somewhere between a wine bar and a restaurant.

The kitchen serves delicious, wholesome food like comforting onion soup, ratatouille, sharing boards of French cheese and charcuterie and pissaladières, traditional pizzas from Nice.

Unmissable dishes include cafe gourmand, a hot drink with a selection of mini desserts, and decadent raclette, a melting basin of cheese with your selection of potatoes, cornichons and meat to dip in.

Of course, the exclusively French wine list is superb, while the cocktail menu includes all your favourites alongside some sophisticated signature serves. If absinth, vodka, honey and orange bitters sounds like a bit of you, try the La Fée. Also on offer is Mariage Frères tea, which has legendary status in France.
