What started as a friendly burger van and the regular pop-up kitchen is now a fully-fledged restaurant in Bristol. If you're a frequent festival goer, you might have already sampled a Burger Theory burger alongside any of their craft beers or cocktails.
So, the theory goes that we simply can't get enough of burgers! And they'd be right! Conveniently located in their new digs in Stokes Croft, Burger Theory is a great place to drop in after a day in town or on the way home from work. It enjoys an uber-relaxed dining style, welcoming groups of all sizes to its long picnic tables and relaxed seating outside on the street-side terrace. Just look out for the cheery orange and blue planters outside, and you have arrived!
So, what does this delicious theory look like? They're going old school with the simple burger, which includes the classic beef patty with curry ketchup, and pickles, along with the pickle ricky slathered in bacon fat confit onions, double american cheese, slow braised beef brisket, jus with bacon aioli and gherkins.
As for vegetarians, they have an alternative falafel bean burger a broccoli falafel with slaw, garlic mayo, hummus. mint sauce, chilli and loads more. Add on any sides, like mac n chesse, wings, or pickled onion rings, and prepare for the mother of all food comas. And just so you know, no burger theory is complete without a cocktail or three...
