An upmarket brasserie dining with a soft spot for Parisian fine dining, Revolve Brasserie is evolving with the times, always bringing back the focus to prime British produce and the fruits of our fare isles.
The brainchild of culinary heavyweights Tristram Hillier, Andrew Fishwick and Romain Pottier, Revolve is centred on a strong dining concept that promotes exclusivity and cosmopolitan flare. Housed in the City, it fits right in with its polished surroundings, presenting a sweeping, modern, sophisticated establishment for equally sophisticated diners. Its open plan dining room is uncluttered and clean, tidying up the traditional bistro for a crisp, slick look that combines natural shades, perfect symmetry and floor-to-ceiling windows to brilliant effect.
The food follows suit with reimagined classics that fully incorporate the modern kitchen. Main courses include a delicately poached chalk stream trout with fennel and Almandine butter sauce, the classic coq au vin with a generous handful of smoky bacon and a ratatouille taken straight out of mama's recipe book. You'll find the British coast gets the French treatment too with the Southern Coast Fish Pie that's brimming with daily fish and exquisitely creamy pomme mousseline.
Of course, no brasserie is complete without the searing magic of the grill. Indulge in the chargrilled Ribeye, chargrilled cauliflower or the divine South Coast lobster if you're celebrating something really special. And with eight desserts to choose from, it turns out Revolve is also turning full circle for an irresistible French patisserie.
