Set in a magnificently restored, Grade II listed former horse stable, this neighbourhood pub boasts all the charm of the British countryside in central Camden.
Indeed, The Farrier is Camden Market's first-ever pub and creates a wonderful juxtaposition to Camden's punky soul. Within this magnificent space, The Farrier has created a pub and European fusion, bringing together rustic furniture and towering wine cabinets together with squidgy sofas and an exceedingly approachable bar. And you can always feel the building's history; with many of the original features still preserved, The Farrier's farming heart is everywhere to be seen.
The menu, unsurprisingly, draws inspiration from British cuisine whilst also dipping its toe into central and southern European crowdpleasers. Of course, no British menu is complete without fish and chips made from daily-caught haddock and served with tartare sauce and crushed minty peas. The same can be said of the sausages and mash and the signature beef burger.
If you want your plate to whisk you away on vacation, opt for a hearty nicoise salad or mushroom and butternut squash risotto. When it comes to pudding, however, Britain rules the roost with the stickiest sticky toffee pudding and the most delicious of culinary cornerstones: the seasonal crumble. That's the England we know and love.
