Coqfighter has landed in Finsbury Park, bringing award-winning fried chicken, the greatest roast chicken, exceptional sides, small plates, beer, wine and cocktails.

Out of frustration at London's lack of high-quality fried chicken options, Coqfighter began as a night for friends at Troy, Tristan, and Deacon’s apartment in South London. Having spent the beginning of the decade living in Melbourne, they’d enjoyed many hot summer nights eating plates of Korean fried chicken served with ice-cold beers in the city’s bustling Chinatown district.

Nights for friends soon became pop-ups in pubs, and after a series of successful residencies, Coqfighter found its first permanent home in South London. A short DIY build later, Coqfighter was open to the public, with queues to boot.

Fast-forward a few years, and big flavours and fresh ingredients still make Coqfighter’s award-winning fried chicken the people’s favourite. From a humble pub residency to multiple sites across the country, some things never change, and Coqfighter’s dedication to process, ingredients, and execution are some of them.
