Flamenco, sangria, siestas… Spain has some of the best traditions in the world. Lucky for you, you don’t have to travel to Spain to enjoy one of their best contributions - tapas. Carmen Tapas is proud to bring the best of Spanish cuisine to London.
Having been around since 1996, it’s safe to say these guys know what they’re doing. Conveniently located just seconds from Clapham Common tube station, it’s easy to spot the bright red building that is this colourful, rustic eatery. Whether you’re going out for a romantic meal for two, bringing the whole family or heading out with the amigos, this special spot is one for any occasion.
The menu is full of a variety of tapas (small share plates) so you can try a bit of everything. Some traditional favourites are the patatas bravas (Spanish hand-cut fried potatoes), croquetas de jamón (serrano ham croquettes) and gambas al ajillo (sizzling prawns with garlic and chili). Or try one of the delicious paella varieties Spain is so famous for. And no Spanish meal is complete without a drink! Grab a jug of fresh sangria for the table, or sample some of the Spanish wine, beer or sherry.
Get ready for a unique, fresh, fun meal at this special spot. The friendly team at Carmen Tapas can’t wait to meet you!
