Deep in West London on a calm leafy road in Acton lies Roots, a vibrant new Caribbean restaurant that aims to bring some sunshine to the city. Restaurateur and Chef Andrew McIntosh invites you to have a taste of the tropics by dining on a combination of modern and classic Caribbean dishes inspired by his Caribbean grandparents and mother.
The newly opened Caribbean spot Roots truly is as laid-back as an island breeze. Enter and be greeted by natural wooden tones, vibrant neon lights, and soft reggae beats and you’ll feel like you’re floating in the Caribbean Sea.
Roots Kitchen will have the staple Caribbean dishes such as flavoursome jerk chicken and curry goat. Paired alongside with their famous mac and cheese, you will feel right at home.
Their rum punch is a particular favourite on this refreshing selection, with the classic options of pina colada and mojito also on offer.
Their glorious food should be accompanied by laughter and the music that makes you tap your toes… beat that!
