Surely some of the best things in life are part of the Spanish way. Sangria,Ā Tapas and small bites, long lunches full of such things, dining al fresco, dining with company, relaxing and taking time to enjoy a cup of coffee, and always looking on the bright side of life.Ā
A trip to Spain may not be on the cards, but we can bring the gastronomic tastes of the Mediterranean to you.
Camino Shoreditch, Monument and Kings Cross
With a mission to re-create the authentic tastes and experiences of Spain in London, one can say that Camino has succeeded. In 1984, founder Richard embarked on a road trip across Spain driving from north to south diving head first into the restaurant and wine culture. Camino was born (after countless trips to Spain) in Kings Cross in 2007, with the Shoreditch and Monument locations bringing more of Camino across London over time.
Youāll need a decent amount of time to take in the incredible menu full of small plates; from cured meats and cheeses to chargrilled chicken skewers, Patatas Bravas, sautĆ©ed chorizo and ibĆ©rico pork, the options are endless. Steak lovers fear not; ribeye, sirloin, and prime fillet steaks are all on the menu. Get into the spirit with a jug of sangria and toast to the best way of life!
Jamon Jamon Soho, Belsize and Camden
The Spanish word for all things āhamā, Jamon Jamon pays tribute to this humble meat, and if something is good in Spain, they say it twice!
The menu features all the irresistible tastes of the Mediterranean - Tapas and sharing plates full to the brim with chicken and creamy mushroom, IbƩrico pork loin with blue cheese, beef meatballs, ham croquettes and Spanish chorizo. Did someone say Paella? With five on the menu, seafood lovers can choose from Squid ink, seafood and chicken, or seafood only. There's also three locations across London to choose from; Soho, Belsize and Camden.

Carmen Tapas
An intimate restaurant in South London, Carmen Tapas is a colourful hive of fun a stone's throw from Clapham Common tube station.
Letās have Tapas of course! Try a bit of everything from ham croquettes, sizzling garlic and chilli prawns, Spanish omelette, beef and pork meatballs or grilled aubergine in bechamel and tomato sauceā¦the list goes on. Wash it all down with a glass of sangria or house cava, and soak in the cosy atmosphere.
