Margaux

Romantic meal for two or a meal with friends, Margaux is a stylish French restaurant located in the heart of South Kensington’s Old Brompton Road. The menus at Margaux have been created by Executive Chef Zsolt Ferencz, and showcase exquisite French cuisine paired with European classics.  From the grilled octopus with summer squash cream, shallots and parsley, to the heirloom tomato tartare, hazelnut pesto and balsamic pearls, every meal is exquisitely presented. The mains include roasted rack of lamb, with charred cauli and summer vegetables, and Margaux’s signature beef bourguignon with creamy polenta. And of course, make sure you leave room for the crème brûlée, and carefully selected wine from one of Margaux’s 120 bin wine list.

Bandol

A French masterpiece brought to you by the founders of Margaux in South Kensington, Bandol is inspired by the flavours and colours of southern French cuisine. The menu focuses on Nicoise and Provençale sharing dishes made from the best local ingredients. Starters feature truly sensational dishes such as steak tartare Provençale, sea bass ceviche and seared tiger prawns. The mains celebrate French cuisine at its finest; the roasted scallops, with leek ragu and shaved black truffle, the lobster and crab tortellini, and the grilled veal rump. Finish with a selection of French cheese or gateau au chocolat and wash it down with a sticky dessert wine. Merci grand-mère!

Six Portland Road

An intimate, cosy restaurant, Six Portland Road is a wonderful choice for lunch or dinner. With a menu that updates daily, and evolves throughout the year, you’ll end up coming back for more to try something new every time. Rest assured, there's something for everyone, with seafood, meat dishes and vegetarian delicacies, and of course beautiful French desserts and a wine list made up of around 50 wines. Bon appetit! 

Paulette

Whisking us away to France's cobbly backstreets, this eatery boasts a certain intimacy that is reminiscent of relaxed dinners at home. With a menu headlined in French, Paulette is the real deal. Les entrées feature baked camembert, crispy prawns and Burgundy snails with parsley and garlic butter. Les plats go down the classic route with bavette and frite (pan fried flank steak with fries and tomato Béarnaise) or margret de cupboard (pan fried duck breast with cider vinegar and honey dressing). And for afters? Sample the best of French patisserie with an oozing chocolate eclair or the tarte of the day.
