Perhaps one of the most exotic creatures to grace Manchester, everyone's on the lookout for the Blue Eyed Panda. If you see it, it'll likely try tempt you with delicious morsels from its homeland.

Which is China, in case you were wondering. Whilst on its visit to Manchester, Blue Eyed Panda has made it its mission to share with Mancunians the food of its homeland. Enjoy intoxicating eats in the comfort of this spangly restaurant - so described because of the intricate lighting design that makes on feel like they're dining in the Milky Way. Complimented by glowing Chinese lanterns and an American diner-style restaurant, Blue Eyed Panda is where you leave the outside world on the outside.

If the promise of crispy duck spring rolls, prawn toast and vegetarian wantons tempted you all the way in, you're in luck. Pair these delicious morsels with a selection of dim sum and try out a whole range of steamed-filled dumplings.

If you're not in for a tapas-style evening, don't overdo the portions on the dim sum (a tough ask, we're aware), and leave some room for a rack of honey glazed pork ribs, chicken char siu or roast duck, all of which can be doused with your choice of sauce, be that Thai red curry, satay peanut of Szechuan sauce.
