Eatchu is Bristol's premium dumpling producer, serving its wares at St Nicks Market, the Wiper and True Taproom, Wapping Wharf, and now at its flagship restaurant on the Clifton Triangle.
Specialising in gyoza dumplings and fried chicken, this is the perfect place for delicious Japanese-style food accompanied by local beers, wines, and soft drinks. Gluten-free and vegan options are readily available.
When you pop in, be prepared to get to grips with four fresh and tasty gyoza fillings. Devour them in six portions, grab some karaage fried chicken, add some rice, noodles, and salad pots, and you have a proper feast on your hands. Dishes come loaded with house-made sauces and toppings - the free-range chicken gyoza with mayo, rayu chilli oil and shichimi sea salt is a particular hit!
Try your gyoza or fried chicken with a big ol' rice bowl, like the gyoza on Sanshoku rice topped with edamame, red ginger, and sesame sweetcorn. If you like a bit more kick, try the spicy noodles loaded with crispy chilli oil, spring onion, and sesame. Add a soy-marinated free-range egg and some kimchi; both are delish.
