Beerd

Bringing together two of our favourite things - authentic Italian pizza and craft beer - Beerd is already in our good books! The fact that they're celebrating their rustic beginnings at every stage of the dining experience only makes them more of a must-do.

Ever-so chic and cool in their 'worn' look, they're masters of texture and urban cool. As well as a grungy bar that's composed of all kinds of colourful used woods, you'll find exposed brick walls everywhere, wooden panelling, naked light bulbs and recycled materials that make up the tables and table partitions. Put simply, you couldn't get cooler if you tried. Maybe their funky neon lights, epic menu and enviable beer barrels under the bar have just made Beerd one of the most coveted reservations in the city.

Best of all, most of their pizzas will present a first-time experience for many. Unique in more ways than one, you'll find imaginative creations like Lockdown Barbie that's loaded with grilled chicken, pancetta and heaps of BBQ sauce, The Holy Trinity which boasts smoked scamorza, stilton and feta, and the Beer Polpette Pizza that's simply divine with spicy meatballs, red onions and homemade tomato sauce. Pretty much every flavour you can think of is there, from smoky meaty vibes to easy cheesy indulgence and deli delights.

Make the experience even more flavourful (if that's even possible) with some dips on the side! Then wash it down with a craft beer, all of which are rotated on a regular basis to make way for seasonal creations that are fresh and hoppy. And there you have it; the pairing of dreams!
