The Hideaway

The Hideaway Bar & Kitchen, located on Shirehampton Road is a contemporary dining venue which features an open kitchen, producing a large variety of enticing food with trendy, colourful and unique signatures. We purposefully create great dishes that are made from fresh produce in order to cater for various dietary requirements.

The main focal point in the dining area is a fully equipped bar which is a hive of activity from open till close. With barista coffees in the morning, carefully curated wines from around the world and premium beers to handcrafted cocktails, The Hideaway is your perfect spot for family gatherings, casual meet-ups and romantic date nights with your significant other.

The menu is serving up all our favourite flavours with plenty of Kiwi eats, pub grub and international nosh to get your teeth stuck into. They have a soft spot for the Mediterranean (for good reason) and are serving up everything from San Marzano bruschetta, salmon rigatoni, Sardinian chalk stream trout and crispy arancini. Kiwi classics come in the form of braised lamb shoulder with heaps of creamy mash and confit garlic sauce, honey-glazed pork belly and their own version of fish & chips.

Other stars of the menu are the signature burgers! We're talking juicy beef patties with melted cheddar and crispy bacon, buttermilk chicken with apple slaw, mushroom patties with truffle tapenade and the almighty Heart Attack burger which has a bit of everything.
