A social hub from noon till night, it's no wonder The Rectory is a favourite amongst locals... and just about everyone else who pops in.
Overlooking the icon that is St Paul's Church, it's a fabulous spot to soak in the best sights of this bustling city. On the inside, it's warm and cosy with all the trappings of a traditional British pub and restaurant. Think wooden furnishings, plush booths and low ceilings and you're pretty much on the money. Needless to say, whatever time you go, its infectious buzz will keep you out way past your bedtime.
But the question on everybody's lips: what's for lunch and dinner? All their meat is delivered from their local butcher daily and cooked over red-hot coals, ensuring incredible flavour depth. Choose from the succulent bavette steak or an intensely flavoured lamb shoulder shepherd pie that's slow-cooked for a hefty 8 hours, not forgetting their famous beer battered fish and chips.
They haven't forgotten about all of the Vegans and vegetarians who can indulge in a Moving mountains burger, vegan nuggets and homecooked classic cauliflower bolognese!
Why not make a night of it with a cocktail and game of social darts in 180 Club? Whether you like them long, short, teetotal or Martini-style, there's a boozy friend and a cocktail umbrella for everyone!
