What started as a friendly burger van and regular pop-up kitchen is now a fully-fledged restaurant in Bristol. If you're a frequent festival goer, you might have already sampled a Burger Theory burger alongside any of their craft beers or cocktails.
So, the theory goes that we simply can't get enough of burgers! And they'd be right! Conveniently located on St Stephen's Street, Burger Theory is a great place to drop in after a day in town or on the way home from work. It enjoys an uber relaxed dining style, welcoming groups of all sizes to its long picnic tables and relaxed seating outside on the street side terrace. Just look out for the cheery orange and blue planters outside, and you have arrived!
So, what does this delicious theory look like? They're going old school with the classic beef patty with American cheese, pickles and salad, adding in Southern fried chicken, grilled satay chicken and lamb kofta patties into the mix. All served with a mix of blue cheese, peanut, bourbon BBQ and red chilli sauce, they're not afraid to bring out the big guns when it comes to flavour!
As for vegetarians, they have alternative 'beef' and 'chick'n' patties and giant portobello mushrooms to keep everyone satisfied. Add on any of their four kinds of fries, loaded or otherwise, consider some wings or Korean fried chicken bites for the side and prepare for the mother of all food comas. And just so you know, no burger theory is complete without a cocktail or three...
