A sparkling social hub on one of Soho's most hip-hop-happening streets, 100 Wardour St is where you'll find all the fashionable socialites from dawn to dusk.
What was a regular stomping ground for the likes of music icons such as David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix and more, this building has a pretty impressive resume. It used to be the infamous Marquee Club; fast forward forty-odd years and it's now this enviable hotspot of glamour and indulgence. An eclectic venue that boasts a stylish bar and a decedent restaurant, this is one dinner you won't forget. Complete with a stage and live music five nights a week, the dining area is flooded with a golden glow and plays host to a plethora of luxury leather sofas, intimate tables for two and a cacophony of voices, laughter and catchy tunes.
Leading the kitchen is a culinary genius, Kim Woodward. Having worked with the likes of Gordon Ramsay and at esteemed establishments like Savoy Grill, she knows a thing or two about winning flavour combinations and eye-catching presentation. The menu itself is small but mighty, offering fine examples of British and Italian cooking.
For melt-in-the-mouth pasta dishes, you're spoilt for choice. The rigatoni comes with a zingy arrabiata and olive sauce while the linguine is simply laced with mushrooms and black truffles. Sometimes less is more! And from the grill, you have everything from ribeye steak to lamb barnsley and a delicate salmon fillet. Where is this emerald city, dear chum? Well, the clue's in the name!
