Despite its name, The Rear Window is always looking ahead and playfully innovating for your pleasure. A brand new concept in The Hitchcock Hotel, this restaurant is rewriting the rulebook.
If The Hitchcock Hotel isn't on your radar, just know that it calls Epping Forest and Hollow Ponds its neighbours, offering country retreat vibes that have inner-city Londoners going wild. As for The Rear Window, it artfully combines traditional with contemporary, serving the best of British cuisine in its dynamic dining room. Where a glistening bar stands amidst farmhouse furnishings, earthy tones and sweeping drapes, The Rear Window really is full of surprises.
The same can be said for their menu! This is where Thai Green Curry stands alongside a classic steak tartare made from the finest Scottish beef, where Barnsley lamb cosies up to shakshuka with St Ewe eggs, and where miso aubergine makes friends with a seabass fillet with black bean sauce. A treat for tastebuds up and down the land, this menu has it all.
And like any British establishment worth its salt, the grill plays a central role in fulfilling the stuff of meaty legends. With Hereford ribeye, signature beef patties and steak sandwiches sizzling away, a juicy, succulent mouthful is only an order away. Finally, crown your evening with a Knickerbocker Glory. If we're being really honest with ourselves, aren't they everyone's guilty pleasure?
