The light-filled, art-deco inspired interior has a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. Taking its namesake from the Old English word for ‘home’, it’s no surprise this eatery is welcoming from the outset.

Dishes are simple but imaginative, cooked in a way that allows the quality of ingredients to shine. Small, family-run businesses supply the ingredients used in everything on Hām’s menu, and chosen suppliers are almost obsessive in the welfare of their animals and the purity of their produce, which is all responsibly farmed and organic.

To ensure ingredients are as fresh and seasonal as possible, the team at Hām change their menu daily. You can expect anything from heritage beetroot paired with skordalia, nectarines and walnuts for starters, to lamb saddle, grilled beans and anchovies, or pan-fried pollock, celeriac, peas and broad beans for mains.

Be sure to round your dinner off with a decadent dessert, like the chocolate cremeaux with olive oil and hazelnuts or a lemon verbena donut with strawberries and mascarpone.
