Opened in 2009 by Bristol-born Adam Denton, The Cowshed brings the true taste of the West Country to the city. Adam’s ethos is simple; to serve good British food in a relaxed environment.

Focusing on fresh, local and organic produce, this kitchen is proud to support West Country farmers and producers who share their same ethos and passion.

Known for their quality meats (from the butcher next door), The Cowshed is also passionate in hand-picking the finest wines, sourcing the freshest fish for the daily specials, and using seasonal produce for their vegetarian dishes.

Tuck into favourites like the poached lemon chicken, or the crispy pork belly. From wild mushroom and truffle risotto, to slow cooked beef ragu, their menu is a celebration of West Country produce. Save room for their desserts though (the sticky toffee pudding is delicious!).
