Frustrated by London’s lack of quality fried chicken, founders Troy, Tristan and Deacon started Coqfighter in their South London flat, inspired by Melbourne’s vibrant food scene where hot summer nights meant Korean fried chicken and cold beers in Chinatown. What began as casual gatherings soon evolved into pub pop-ups, successful residencies and their first permanent home in South London.

A DIY build and a growing queue later, Coqfighter quickly gained a cult following. Years on, their dedication to bold flavours, fresh ingredients and top-notch execution has seen them expand across the country while staying true to their roots.
