The Lansdown is back and open for business! With new owner Dan at the helm, we couldn't be more excited for the next chapter in this institution's culinary journey.
Sitting pretty in Clifton Village, The Lansdown has occupied an important part in locals' hearts for decades. It calls an illustrious Grade II listed building home and, as a consequence, boasts the luxury of high ceilings, historical original features and a sense of cultural longevity that Bristolians can't get enough of. Not only does it have a traditional pub dining area, its best feature has to be the beer garden which is also heated throughout the colder months. Who says you can't dine alfresco all year round?
And whilst you're getting comfy and soaking in the good vibes from the live music, peruse their menu of classic British fare. Using local, sustainable produce wherever possible, the mains showcase some of the best meat our lush lands have raised. The Lansdown burger is juicy and succulent with all the traditional toppings, the pork and leek sausages are rich with meaty flavours and the locally caught haddock bursts with fresh-out-of-the-ocean goodness.
When it comes to drinks, the local breweries are serving up some unforgettable pours. With Bristol Beer Factory, Moor and Lost & Grounded at your disposal, swig at a down-the-road-brew whilst cheering on your team on the projector outside. At Lansdown, it's so much more than food. It celebrates everything that we Brits hold dear.
